My Tour at Never Summer Factory

So last week, Friday morning I got up the guts to call Never Summer and shamelessly ask for a Donation for Concert For Cash. I was thinking: a hat, a hoody, some smaller swag....Vince(who used to own the Board Room in Lakewood, Co...where I used to shop and bought my skateboard at) said " hold on a min and I will ask Tim the Owner. Vince came back on the phone 1 min later with a 'WOW...Tim said we will give you a snowboard. Please know this is really rare and good timing on your part. When do you want to get it and do you want a tour of the factory?" Hell yes and I will be there at 2 pm(it was 11:30 am....didn't want to say be there in 5 mins , thought I would look too desperate!!
So at 2 pm, with my cupcakes as a Thank you in hand I entered the true world of Snowboard
ing..the factory! Some of you may know that I have been riding or a rider for a while now...say 22 years.Sponsored and all in the mid 90's. wow that makes me sound super old. anyways, vanity aside...I was shaking in my Simple sneaks as I entered into the world I have loved for so long and was personally led around the factory, seeing all the processes that make a Never Summer board. meeting craftsmen, meeting the owner. Seriously ....so without any more hesitation...they presented my with a Women's snowboard. Profusely thanked me for the sugar snacks and i was on my way in about an hrs time.
Can I say my little angeman Cashie had a part in the ? YES!!! Cashie angel has been working these types of miracles for 2.5 years now.
Concert For Cash is so much more than a music event and fundraiser...it's a celebration, a grateful festival, a community gathering to share the positive of what we experience in life.
Will you join us on Jan 23rd for this event?
More details up above . Get your tix now before they sell out.
Have a great Monday, I know I will...

update for Concert For Cash

Hello Hello,
Happiest New Years to all of you. Been so busy with organizing I haven't posted but check out what we have NOW!!
Lilly Pads Car Seat Covers will be donating for the second year...we LOVE repeat donors!
A Custom Mural has been donated by Artist Calvin Davis, he will be at the event with his portfolio to answer questions..value:$500.00! Wow!
So many things to be grateful for today: my health, Page's health, our work, our fuzzy family. Cowie is on my lap right now as I type. Our home, our families, and YOU! all of you who read this blog.....we are grateful.
on the Adoption front: Nepal has had meetings , I have heard they are going to start sending out travel letters to those who have been matched already. We are not there yet but any movement is good.
So if I may ask anything of the universe today it will be: Please Nepal, see our dossier, see that we are a great couple who will be the best , stable, strong and loving parents to a little grommit from your beautiful country.
As always, I love you my Beanie kidangel.
